Finalize details of the Gowanus Superfund Town Hall

May 29, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Congresswoman Velazquez is available.

Confirm with EPA regarding presenter availability.

Need to submit application form for PS 133 TODAY!

PS 133 is ideal if we can get it; if not, Wyckoff Community Room is our back up, and would need to be reserved soon.

Might it be possible to have a CAG paid outreach person? Andrea Parker raised it as a possibility. There are programs that we could apply to for funding for an outreach coordinator (Americorps, Civicorps), but would require some compensation. Who would pay?

Other (unpaid) internship programs might fit the bill. City Tech, Baruch, etc. have internship programs. Sabine can look into it after spring break. Revisit after the town hall.

Outreach could draft a resolution asking for CAG permission once we identify suitable programs and figure out a scope of work.
