The Mayor’s Office of Recovery and Resiliency, in partnership with the New York City Economic Development Corporation, invites the public to provide input to help shape project priorities for the Red Hook Integrated Flood Resiliency Program (IFPS).
This is the first in what is promised to be a series of public meetings to discuss the development of an integrated flood-resiliency program to reduce coastal flood risk in Red Hook.
Childcare, Spanish translation and refreshments will be provided.
The New York City Council’s Committee on Environmental Protection will hold an oversight hearing on Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at 10:00 a.m., on the city’s wastewater infrastructure, both its current condition and future plans.
The hearing will be held in the Council chambers in City Hall, and topics covered will likely include discussion of combined sewer systems, long-term control plans, and stormwater infrastructure planning and policies.
Members of the public are invited to provide testimony, which is typically limited to three minutes. If you plan to testify, you’re advised to bring 20 double-sided printed copies of your testimony.
Please budget a few extra minutes for clearing security.
The New York City Department of City Planning will update Community Board 6’s Executive Committee on the Gowanus PLACES neighborhood study’s planning and land use framework.

The New York City Department of City Planning will hold a public scoping meeting for the Gowanus Neighborhood Rezoning project on Thursday, April 25, 2019, beginning at 4:00 p.m. The hearing will be held in the auditorium of Middle School (M.S.) 51 at 350 5th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11215.
Written comments will be accepted by the Department of City Planning until the close of business on Monday, May 27, 2019.
