The Gowanus Canal Community Advisory Group’s Land Use Committee will hold its November monthly meeting on Tuesday, November 12th, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., via Zoom. Please note this is a change from the Committee’s regular first-Tuesday-of-the-month meeting date, due to Election Day.

- Report on any response to the letter to the DEP
- Report on status of the 2nd meeting with represents of local elected officials re: Nevins odor complaints
- Discuss new air-sampling canisters
- Request most recent plume map
- How much remediation will be required before building a new apartment building on the block north of the Douglass-DeGraw Pool/Thomas Greene Park (3rd Avenue between Douglass and DeGraw) aka “ground-zero for the motherlode of coal tar”?
- Letter to EPA regarding the next phase of construction of the CSO tank at the former Fulton MGP site
- Review and respond to DEC’s letter regarding recent work at lower Court Street and monitoring wells that have not been recently tested.
