{"id":7501,"date":"2021-12-10T15:04:46","date_gmt":"2021-12-10T20:04:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gowanuscag.org\/?p=7501"},"modified":"2021-12-10T15:04:48","modified_gmt":"2021-12-10T20:04:48","slug":"upcoming-nycdep-unified-stormwater-rule-informational-briefings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gowanuscag.org\/index.php\/2021\/12\/10\/upcoming-nycdep-unified-stormwater-rule-informational-briefings\/","title":{"rendered":"Upcoming NYCDEP Unified Stormwater Rule Informational Briefings"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" class=\"lead\">The New York City Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) will hold informational briefings about the forthcoming Unified Stormwater Rule (USWR) on Monday, December 20th, at 4 p.m., and again on Tuesday, January 4th, at 10 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The proposed\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www1.nyc.gov\/site\/dep\/water\/unified-stormwater-rule.page\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Unified Stormwater Rule<\/a>\u00a0amendments are now available for public review and comment. This rule includes amendments to Chapter 31 and Chapter 19 of the Admin Code, changing requirements for how stormwater is managed on all new and redevelopment sites\u202fthat discharge to City sewers.\u202f\u202fThe rule includes a new Stormwater Manual to provide guidance for permit applicants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www1.nyc.gov\/site\/dep\/water\/unified-stormwater-rule.page?question=faq1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NYC Stormwater Manual<\/a>\u00a0is also available for review and comment.
