Congresswoman Nydia M. Velázquez will host a virtual town hall meeting on Tuesday, November 9th, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Small Business Administration’s Disaster Assistance unit, focused on flooding and how to access government assistance.

Recent storms, especially Hurricane Ida, caused catastrophic flooding in many parts of the city. The town hall will address flooding impacts, and provide information on how to apply for aid. The NYC Mayor’s Office of Climate Resiliency and NYC Emergency Management will also participate.

The town hall will take place via Zoom and through telephone dial-in. Please register in advance at https://bit.ly/3BHjMWV.
