U.S. Representative Dan Goldman and Brooklyn Community Board 6 will host a virtual town hall meeting on Monday, March 6, at 7:00 p.m., to discuss resiliency proposals by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) for Gowanus and Red Hook in the September 2022 NYNJ Harbor and Tributaries Study (HATS).

The current deadline for public comment on these proposals is March 7. This town hall is an important opportunity for community members to discuss their concerns with USACE directly. In order to permit community members more time to comment, Rep. Goldman and Rep. Velazquez have formally requested that USACE extend the deadline for public comment to the end of March.

The meeting is open to the public, and all are welcome. Register here: https://us06web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_A4cnFAg8TTGzKfoEDfu5VQ.
