Dredging and Capping Pilot Study underway in Gowanus Canal’s 4th Street Basin

Earlier this month, contractors working for the Environmental Protection Agency began work on a dredging and capping pilot study in the Gowanus Canal’s 4th Street Turning Basin. Con Edison Third Avenue Yard to be remediated under State Brownfield Cleanup Program; NYSDEC accepting comments through September 8th
